Frequently Asked Questions

What does 3-in-1 mean?

3-in-1 refers to the three learning modalities contained in Echo Imprint’s courses. These modalities are Traditional, Hybrid, and Online. The traditional classroom is a physical classroom, typically at a church. Online refers to the password protected online space that is solely occupied by your teachers and students. Hybrid refers to a class in which some students attend online and some attend in a traditional classroom. The online curriculum that you receive is designed to be caught in all three modalities.

Do I have to teach in all three modalities? What if I only want to teach online? Or only in a traditional classroom?

The great thing about Echo Imprint’s 3-in-1 curriculum is that it works equally well in all three modalities. It is extremely agile—you can choose a modality, or switch from week to week, as needed. Work in whatever modality you are most comfortable, your students need, or circumstances dictate.

I’ve never taught online before. Can I get some help?

Of course! Our online curriculum is designed for online beginners and is very user-friendly. But every course also contains a Faculty Guide that walks you through the course content and how to work with it. Want to learn more? Contact us about our Teach the Teacher program. We love to share what we’ve learned!

How can I be sure our privacy is protected?

When you purchase a course from Echo Imprint Curriculum, you determine the class roster. Only the people you request to be enrolled will have access to your course. All course access is password protected. Teachers and students are able to see each other’s email addresses in the online classroom, but that information is never shared in a public forum.

What if I need longer to complete my course?

Life happens. Special occasions occur. Every time you purchase a 5 week course from Echo Imprint Curriculum, you receive 8 weeks of course access. That way you can plan your lessons around your own calendar.

What if I need more room in my course?

You can always get more enrollments for your course. However, we do recommend capping each section of a course at 20 students, so that teachers are able to give adequate individual attention to each student, whether they are attending online or in a traditional classroom. Although individual class size is up to you, you do have the option to purchase a second section of the course at any time.

What if I don’t have enough students to fill a section?

There is no magic number of students that makes a classroom “perfect.” Small classrooms allow for lots of personal interaction, while larger classrooms provide lively debate and higher energy levels. It’s up to you to determine the class size that’s right for you. However, for those smaller or geographically dispersed worship communities, we do offer our Echo In-House offerings. If you only have one or two students who are ready to take the course, and you aren’t in a position to purchase an entire section, contact us about signing up for a shared section, lead by an Echo Imprint Instructor. We schedule these regularly and can put your students in a shared section so that they have access to the curriculum and to a peer group with whom to interact.
